“I think that it would be better if we end this relationship.”
Those words still burned into Cassandra’s mind as the sun beat down intensely on her pale skin. The only sound being that of an insect buzzing around dramatically as she flapped it away with her book. Tidily arranging a large beach towel, she threw herself down on the hot sand, allowing the warm heat to permeate through her body. This is what she’d longed for back in the greyness of London, to be miles away from the stress, and pressure of working for a celebrity magazine. Yet as hard as she tried to forget it all, her head was still full of Aidan.
