Chapter Three The white, sun bleached ruins of the amphitheatre loomed on the horizon, the first sight of the ancient stones standing magnificently in front of them was breath-taking. Jon pulled the Ferrari over and the pair of them climbed out, and walked slowly up the hill to reach the magnificent edifice. Entering the ruins, they found themselves at the top of rows upon rows of stone tiers, overwhelmed by the silence and atmosphere of the history of the place that enveloped them.
