CHAPTER 1

MIRACLE SAGA’S POINT OF VIEW

“Oh my God! Finally, we will go to the dark island. By the way, congratulations Ajax and Syden,” I said and smiled at them. Ajax and Syden are soon to be married. That's why Ajax invites us to go to their dark island since we will celebrate.

“I'm so excited! Now I know, only Syden can make Ajax agree that we can go to the dark island," Naya said while taking a picture with her handsome boyfriend, Porter. Ajax just laughed.

“Guys, Ruker texted me that they are near. They are driving the speed boat now,” Porter said after taking pictures with Naya. I just sighed. I'm the only one who’s single here. Hays! I don't know when I can have a boyfriend.

“Miracle, are you okay?” I looked towards Syden and nodded.

“Yeah, I am okay. I just want to feel the very fresh air," I answered. She smiled at me and she looked back to Ajax.

Tsk! My friends are happy with their handsome man. Maren and Ruker are happily married. They got married at the age of eighteen because Maren got pregnant and the father is Ruker.

Their baby is in the arms of their parents. Because for now, we will enjoy our life. After this, we need to go back to work.

Naya and Porter are one year in a relationship. And lastly, Ajax and Syden will be married soon. While me, nah! I do not have an ex-boyfriend or boyfriend or husband. Hashtag no boyfriend since birth!

Minutes passed and then Maren and Ruker were here. They help us bring our things and foods in a speedboat.

“Ready guys?” Ruker asked while smirking.

“Ready!” We answered happily.

“Okay let's go!” Ruker said excitedly. Then he starts to drive a speed boat.

“Miracle you are the only one who can sing here so please sing my favourite song, please?

Also, you are the one who will sing at our wedding,” Syden said and begged me to sing her favourite song. I smiled at her and nodded.

“Okay, I will sing your favourite song,” I replied while smiling.

“Yeah!” they all shouted. I started to sing a song titled My Love For You by Chesli Fox, one of the famous singers.

Another morning came and I smiled seeing you beside me

I saw Syden smiling and feeling the beautiful message of the song. Exactly the sunrise touched our skin and it felt so good.

While we’re on that position and situation

I keep remembering us way back before

Some of my friends and even I almost stopped singing when we remembered the time when some of them were in denial about their feelings.

After I sang the song, we are now slowly swaying because we are still here in the speed boat.

I sang the song titled It’s Vacation by Lilia Contis and some of them joined me again even though their voices were not that good.

I feel so stressed!

I want a vacation but I can’t!

Oh why? Why? Why is this happening?

I need to work first but it’s so stressful

I need money so I can buy what I want

I need money for my vacation

So here I am working-working . . .

Our hands are clapping and feeling the vibe of the song and they become more lively when the chorus part starts.

I got my salary and paid my bills

Looking at my money I still have for myself

We’re swaying slowly our body while clapping our hands and keep singing until the end of the song. Later on, we’re now talking about random things.

“So Miracle, when will you have the interest to have a boyfriend? Hmm?” Naya asked me. I just laughed a little bit and answered.

“Hahaha, Naya you know my answer. I still can't find a man that I think suits me. A man like them," I said and pointed my finger to Ruker, Ajax, and Porter.

“Oh! Wow! Thank you Miracle I felt happy because of what you said!” Porter said while smirking and laughed and then Ruker and Ajax laughed too.

“Tss!”

“Are you serious, Miracle? You do not want to have a boyfriend?” Syden asked me.

“Hmm, I am not interested now. You know I need to work first and if I become successful I think I will be interested in having a boyfriend,” I answered her.

“I remember, you are the only one who does not have a long time crush. Well not in highschool. When we were in grade nine, you had a long time crush with the campus heartthrob named Rodolfo,” Maren said.

Tsk! Hays, Maren, I will really kill you! I feel my cheeks turning red because I remembered my crush Rodolfo a year ago.

“Oh really? Miracle has a long time crush when you are in high school?” Ajax was shocked when he asked Maren.

“Yeah, hahahahaha!”­ I stared at Maren and I am saying a message using a stare. Get ready Maren, I will make sure you will regret telling it to our boy best friends.

“Maren!”

“Hahahaha! Why? It is not bad to tell them, okay? And it is from the past. Do not say that you still have a crush on Rodolfo? Hmm?” My eyes widened because of Maren's question.

“No! I do not have a crush on him now! Eww!” I replied quickly and accidentally I rolled my eyes. They just laughed at me.

“Okay, okay ahm change topic. Wait, what if we play truth or dare? I am so bored. I want to do something that we can enjoy,” Syden said. We all agreed with her suggestion.

“Okay, then we will play truth or dare." Syden picked one empty bottle and we sat in a circle shape.

“What the hell?! I can not play with you guys. You know that is my favourite game! Porter, you should be the one who drove this f*****g speed boat!” We all laugh because of what Ruker said. Ruker loves to play truth or dare.

“Nah I do not want to drive your f*****g speed boat,” Porter said and he smirked, because of that Ruker got pissed.

“It is okay, Ruker. You are driving this speedboat, you are still part of the game,” I said and they all agreed. Syden is the one who first spins the empty bottle. After spinning the empty bottle, the lid part of it pointed to Maren.

“Maren, truth, or dare?” Syden asked.

“Truth,” Maren answered without a doubt.

“Okay, Maren ahm, why did you have s*x at age eighteen?” Our eyes widened because of Syden's question.

“Ahm Syden—” Syden cut her words.

“You picked a truth then you should answer me the truth, my friend,” Syden says and then smirks like a demon who won in the dirty game.

“Okay, I and Ruker are drunk. Remember, it is Miracle's debut and we drank so much liquor then we got drunk. That is why we can not think properly when we start to kiss. Then boom!” Maren answered Syden's question. Maren had no choice so she told the truth. Just like what Syden said, she picked the truth so she should answer the truth to the question.

“Okay, Maren spins the bottle,” Syden said and Maren started to spin the bottle and the lid of it pointed to me.

“Oh! Miracle Saga truth or dare?”

“Hmm, truth,” I responded.

“Okay, past years or now, do you have a crush on Ruker or Ajax or Porter?” I did not answer the question immediately. I sighed and stared at them.

“No. I do not have any crush on my boy's best friend. I just had a crush when we were still in high school and it was Rodolfo. Now I do not have any crush," I answered completely. They all nodded and we continued our game.
