Chapter 2 Lovebirds

I was walking on the corridor when a muscular arm sneak my waist and hug me from behind.

"Huh!"

"Good morning gorgeous"...someone whisper in my ears.

I smile, then turn arround and two green eyes meet mine.

This is Xander, my bestfriend.

Our friendship started since first day I was a freshman..

He is already 20 years old but only a year ahead of me in school because according to him he has more important things to attend to rather than schooling.

I understand him.Im sure he is someone of higher rank that oversee a lot of pack issue. You see, her in school we werewolf don't brag about ourselves.

Most people here are humans so we are very cautious.

However as werewolf , we could smell the difference between us and humans. We could also feel each other aura and we could tell who has alpha blood and more.

But I'm not sure if my kind sense I am one of them.

I was cloaked since that day. ..

Going back to Xander, well everybody think we are a couple. He is very protective of me and we had agreed not to correct the assumption about us to drive away unwanted sutors pursuing me and unwanted females begging for his attention. Maybe until he finds his mate.

I kiss him on the check.

"Good morning handsome!",I exclaimed.

."Come , I'll take you to your classroom", he smile and two cute dimples appear.

Xander is holding my hand as we walk.The noisy corridor turn quite as if everybody is holding their breath afraid to make sound that could ruin the moment.

Some girls smile while other bores hole in my back enviously.

Why?Because the school hunk that every girls fantasize is drawn to me and would never spare them even one single glance!

Xander POV

I was sitting on the bench inside the campus when I smell that wonderful scent.Honey and vanilla.I close my eyes and drown myself sniffing that intoxicating smell.

The love of my life!

My bestfriend Dame.

I ran after her and when I was near I pull and hug her and whisper my greetings. She turned arround and kiss me on a check greeting me as well.

Now my day is complete!.I walk her to her classroom while holding her hands with a wide grin on my face,not minding the murderous look most of the boys in junior and senior high department throwing at me.

Dame is a Goddess at the age of seventeen.Porcelain white complexion, calm brown eyes framed by thick curly eye lashes, upturned nose ,pink plump lips,long wavy chestnut brown hair, a perfectly toned body shape with legs that run forever.

She is also the top student of junior high.Brain and beauty, a lethal combination.

However, she is a lonely one.

I could feel the sadness she radiates.

I was even intrigued because I can't feel her wolf but she feels like one of us.

It doesn't matter anyway...

Soon I need to go home and live my life the way it should be.

I just need this memory to cherished...to keep my sanity...when the beast took me.

As we are approaching her classroom, Mrs.Johnson, her teacher saw us and give us her wide happy smile.

"Good morning lovebirds!",she greeted us.

"Good morning Mrs. Johnson!" we greeted back almost at the same time.Mrs. Johnson smile to us once more and enter the room.

"Gorgeous can you accompany me for dinner tonight?", I ask Dame while holding her hand.She almost follow after Mrs. Johnson but I firmly hold her hand.

"What's special about tonight?", she asked me with a confused look on her beautiful face.

I understand her question.Our school is heavily guarded.

Most of the students here especially in college are either sons or daughters of presidents or prime ministers around the globe, some heir of royalty including future alphas of werewolf pack, others are young masters of a huge busines empire the rest came from different class of wealthy family with different backgrounds anywhere in the world.

In reality we are mixed humans and werewolf. But the scenario in school plays that everyone is simply human from different wealthy and influencial family around the world.

Our school is located in human town but a few kilometers away from the central point.

The residence surrounding the school campus is not just an ordinary people.

They are the Black Op, the brotherhood task to secure the safety of every student.They are the best in the field and billionaires sought for their services.

All of us here lived in the school dormitory, with amenities like that of a high rise 5star condominum.Mostly boredoom is not our company.

However, being young its in our nature to seek out freedom even just fo a while.Furthermore, anything that looks fancy will eventually wear off its charm if you are so used to it everyday.

We are allowed to have fun outside but we need to notify the admin two weeks in advance.Thats enough time for the Black Op to implement calculative safety measure.

"Sweetheart I'll be leaving school tommorrow.Since we are graduating students we took the exams a month ahead...I can't just disappear without properly bidding goodbye, could I?", I said.

"Ok, just pick me at the dorm tonight. I can't acompany you for lunch today.I'm quite busy", she answered and hurriedly go inside her classroom.

I waited until she settled on her chair and go to the admin office.I still have a lot of documents to settle for my graduation before heading home.

How I wish I can stay in senior high forever ...
