My First Love

Prologue

Amelia Jones

She is a nice young girl, as naive as a child, as innocent as a dove, as pure as a mother's love, till she meets Eric Walker, who teaches her the ways of the world. He is the one who taught her that not everyone is as good as we think of them and some may even be intentionally cruel. But she didn’t think that he would also turn out to be one of those people. Since then she had been intelligent enough to wade through the world alone as he is no longer by her side to guide her. He left her for another woman, breaking her heart, that only beats for him…still.

(Met Eric when she is 18 and freshly out of High School. He has been her 1st Love. She is now 24 years old)

Eric Walker

He was a affectionate and kind person once. His heart became cold and he became ruthless because how he perceived his mother and how she turned out to be. He did let anyone close to him except his best friend, Mark. But one person managed to get past his walls. Catching glimpses of her kindness, her innocence made him get attached to her from far. But he never tried to talk to her fearing she might turn out to be the same as all the other girls. He never knew that Amelia Jones would become the medicine to his broken heart. But his whole world flipped by the time he realized he loves her and he made the biggest mistake of his life by making her believe he cheated on her.

(Met Amelia when he was 21 years old and was in his Junior Year. He is now 27 years old)

Mira Dennis

Amelia’s best friend, same age as Amelia. A-Grade prankster. Loves her like a sister and fights for her like a brother. She is a white belt in Judo. She is an OBGYN

Brandon Bricks

Eric’s manager. Amelia’s friend over the years. A happy and kind 55-year-old man, married to the love of his life with children and cute little grandchildren.

Kade Brown

Amelia’s Cousin. Homosexual. Loves Amelia like a brother. One of the only two people who gets to call Amelia as Amy, the other person being Mira.

Mark Davis

Eric’s best friend since childhood. Knows everything about Eric. Has been Eric’s rock in his hardships.

Author's note: I am yet to add a few details to the characters, which I will as I progress with the story. I am thinking of completing the book 1st instead of publishing a chapter and waiting for eons to get started on the next. Thank you each and everyone for supporting me.
