Location; Westville.
She flew over a balcony and landed on swiftly on her feet, maintaining balance. You could see the flair in her large ocean blue eyes that were therapeutic from first sight, sparkling with joy as she made her way through the quiet street of the less privileged pack of werewolves in the Westville metropolis of supernatural civilization.
Grandpa had something to eat at least, she mentally rejoiced as she held a brown envelope underneath her armpit. She was wearing a tattered blue shirt together with grey pants. It looked so dull and unfair to her silky bright skin that it looked as if she bathed in milk.
Her curly blonde hair was held in a very messy bun while a few curly strands fell to her face, glued on it due to the heat her body had generated after running around.
In case you're wondering why, Serena Jasper here, had gone all the way to Westville coven (it holds the uttermost ranked individuals of the civilization, whom the supernatural refer to as royals.)
Westville coven was just one of the architectural building designed to be several feet above their settlement. Like always, she was able to escape the guards, who had eventually lost her during their chase.
This was part of the mischief of the very cunning emphatic blonde, who had a beautiful face with sharp and defining features, right from her beautiful baby blue eyes, a nose that was sculpted thin and sharp like a button. She had small pink and plump lips, and a very defined jaw. The elegance of her shape of the neck and shoulders was remarkable.
The nineteen year old werewolf's physique was certainly a killer one, as she would always run around the streets being pursued or punished regularly by digging hard earth or carrying some certain weight. All this only contributed to the wellness and beauty her physique .
"Wake up D-D!" She shook an old man who had slept off on his rocking chair. She had pulled successfully into their home without getting caught and snuck into her grandfather's room.
"I brought bread_" she whispered as the man with quite striking and sharp features adjusted his orbs to the brightness of little candles that had almost perished in front of him. Serena certainly inherited her beauty genes.
"Angel, you didn't have to do this, Michael would be on leave tomorrow!" He cried, knowing that his granddaughter had gone miles for him for the thousandth time.
"Just eat," Serena replied as she began to feed the old man.
"For how long would you keep going out of your way? my responsibility is not even on you!!" He pointed out to her, before he began chewing the portion of the sweet baked dough in his mouth.
"Fine, don't eat! your responsibility ain't on me D-D!" She spat angrily, leaving the bread on his chest, while she stomped her feet into her room.
Her room was so small, only her small mattress could fit in. The space had shelves above it, such that when she stood on her mattress, she was able to reach her clothes and her completely unorganized books which she never read.
She sunk into her mattress and her lips quivered. D-D, was the only one who could get on her nerves in the whole of Westville, she didn't appreciate it.
D-D used to be among the warrior wolves of Westville, he used to be active and strong. But now both of his limbs were paralyzed, He eventually grew white hairs over time making him look older than he was supposed to look. He looked weak and dirty but he still had his charms.
The reason behind his paralyzed limbs was still a mystery, even to D-D himself. He had just woken up one day and found out that he couldn't move his both legs.
Staring into the dark ceiling, she deep two of her fingers underneath, till she felt wet on the flesh. She continued to stroke it with an amount of pressure. It didn't hurt but it wasn't pleasing either. Digging her claws on her skin repeatedly was a way Serena eased the frustration that she had pulled up for the day at night. Eventually the angry blonde fell asleep.
Morning came early and unfortunate for her, as she felt herself being dragged from her bed, even before she could open her eyes, she already felt her weight being flung across an open space as she felt her body crash off the hard wooden floor.
Finally, she had the time and consciousness to open her eyes as she stared at the brown floor and then at the toes of the person she hated most.
Her aunt. It could only be her.
"Ruby don't do this please," Serena heard the voice of D-D plead from his room making her wonder what Ruby was all about this glorious morning.
Everything was happening too fast for Serena to comprehend. From her aunt disrespectfully waking her for reasons she didn't know, not as if Ruby ever needed a reason to maltreat Serena though, to D-D's pleas, as if she was about to be sold or something.
She stared around watching the faces that whispered and laughed. Faces of the kids in their pack who were always after the impromptu sad scene between her aunt and her.
"What did I do to deserve this kind of appealing morning?" She asked standing up on her feet.
"Look! Just look! She has no shame! and she never keeps quiet too!"
"Mum, the guards are here,"
Serena stared at Ruby's youngest child whose height stopped exactly by her hip.
She squeezed her face at him while he delivered his unusual message.
"Guards?"Serena wondered out loud instead Ruby just eyed her.
"Yes! Come in and take the thief away already!!" She yelled while Serena stared unbelievably at her.
"I have evidence now! You cannot be a member of this reputable pack and engage in stealing from the royals! We are poor, not thieves!!" Ruby yelled in a melodramatic tone as it all clicked to Serena.
She had always stolen to feed D-D, whenever he was intentionally starved by Ruby. Her uncle, Michael was one of the top servant werewolves to the Royals. He was never around to caution Ruby's behavior.
Serena always makes sure D-D eats at all costs. She took care of the wraps so that they were untraceable because she hated Ruby's drama. The last time she brought something for D-D to eat, Ruby as always had suspected in the morning after. She warned her after slamming her head on a nearby wall. It didn't hurt at all, but seeing D-D cry made her hurt because it only mean what Ruby did to her could have hurt. Well her forehead went swollen for days too.
Last night, she had left D-D with the bread angrily and D-D couldn't have taken care of the bread wraps properly.
By now she was already getting dragged by both of her arms. Being arrested because of theft in the coven was a severe crime. She was most certainly going to be thrown into the dungeon for weeks.
She couldn't leave Ruby to this one, so she wriggled her grip skillfully out of the hold of the guards as she sprinted and spat right on Ruby's face, making the members of her pack that were present, gasp.
"You disgusting piece of s**t!" Ruby cursed as the guards got a hold of her immediately after her actions toward her aunt.
She smiled, fulfilling and satisfied with all the looks she was getting.
"I'd be back D-D, before you know it!"
**************
Serena watched as she got hanged with her hands above her head in the disciplinary chamber. The punishment for stealing in Westville was severe, but at this point, she was sure her aunt might have done some sort of conspiracy. She was supposed to be thrown in the dungeon not hanged in the disciplinary chamber!
She watched as two werewolves approached her with whips of frightening length. Her heart skipped, intimidated by the looks on their faces as they began to whip her, making her close her eyes tightly, hoping she'd feel something as the first whip landed on her skin.
Pain maybe? that was what she supposed to feel...
But pain was something Serena Jasper never felt. Physical pain at least.
This lead her to tearing her lips when she was just eight, leaving her now with a pink scar on her chin, underneath the left side of her lip. This was almost unnoticeable but her characteristic signature of biting her lower lip would always reveal the zigzag scar.
But pain never came.
She watched her exposed skin turn red and bumpy as the whips from both sides landed across her body continuously. The werewolves were sweating profusely now, as they pant trying to catch their breath after what looked like hours of supposed torture on Serena who wasn't budging one bit.
They continued, with the pressure of each whip greater than the previous stroke, but Serena continued to stare at them, as she was certainly lost in her world, showing the uttermost blunt reaction to the hard work her torturers were putting in. Gradually she felt herself approaching the floor that was covered with black sand and eventually everything got black as she passed out.

WITCH TERRITORY, WESTVILLE COVEN.
Silent muttering that sounded like someone was pleading for a last chance in life came from the middle of a large room that was dark, except for the buzz of magical fireflies that rotated around a feminine figure who had a white veil on her head.
She had her legs folded upon each other, her shoulders stood elegantly. Her back faced the entrance of her large space, whose character cannot be figured out due to the darkness.
She rocked back and forth as she continued to receite;
"Her eyes, cool like the ocean,
But they hold fire.
Her blood, spill pathetically
But it is venom.
Her love blossom, ravishing,
But it is hatred.
She knows no pain, but she lives in pain….."
"Esmeralda," A masculine voice addressed the witch by the entrance. She immediately halted her recitations as she quit rocking herself while she listened attentively.
"The werewolf might be right, I think we found her!"
