The drones buzzed overhead for a while, and then they were dropped lower for a closer view as Nana lurched through the dark tunnel. The cameras had night vision, so he appeared in a greenfield on the wide-screen televisions across Lade.
The Ladeans were glued to the televisions, and they watched with their mouths open and expressions of shock pasted on their faces.
It didn't take long, though, for Nana to break out of the tunnel. He paused suddenly with a sharp intake of breath and looked around him with shock.
Spread in front of him was a great expanse of green sand!
