Raine POV By the time I made it back to my dorm, I felt like I’d been chewed up, spit out, and then dragged through dragon blood for decoration. Every inch of me ached. My muscles protested even the act of breathing. The corridors were mostly empty everyone was off somewhere training for the third trial, which was fine by me. The last thing I wanted was to explain why I looked like I had survived a m******e. I peeled off my stained clothes and headed straight for the shower, dreaming of hot water and soap.
