Hikari Bakugou walked underneath the towering gates of U.A. She had gotten into the Hero Course along with her brother, Katsuki Bakugou. Although he got in with the entrance exam, Hikari got in via special recommendation. Her brother was proud of his twin, and happy! They had gotten into U.A together! Katsuki's quirk is explosion, a mix of their parents. But Hikari's quirks were so far away from her family's that she was an outcast. Her quirks were Elemental Manipulation and Empathy. With Elemental Manipulation, Hikari can manipulate ANY element, not just fire, water, earth and air. She could control darkness, light, ice, life, death, love and blood. Hikari could actually BRING SOMEONE TO LIFE! She could even build a human body and give it life and a mind of it's own. The downfall of this quirk was that after around ten minutes of using that element nonstop is that, depending on the element, she would get a negative affect that could potentially kill her. For example if she used fire nonstop, after ten minutes, her skin would start to burn. With ice, she would get severe frostbite that could freeze her heart! Her other quirk, Empathy, has much darker side to it. With Empathy, when touching someone, Hikari can feel their emotions, emotional road blocks and alter their feelings. Though this quirk sounds innocent, it is far from the light.
She looked down at her schedule and found her class, 1-A. A green-haired boy ran up behind her.
"Hikari! Hikari! Hi! How are you?" He yelled out as he caught up to her,
"You know you shouldn't talk to me, Midoriya. I don't want you getting hurt." She told him, without looking at him.
Midoriya shrunk away from her a bit.
"I-I'm sorry, I just thought I should ask how you were." His voice deflated a little bit.
Hikari sighed, she didn't want to talk to him in public, where her brother could see them. She didn't want Katsuki to attack Midoriya. SHe still didn't know what happened between Midoriya and her brother.
"It's okay," She sighed "I just thought that Katsuki might be watching and, yeah."
Midoriya smiled and nodded, he knew what she meant. The two chatted while walking to class, they had been friends for awhile. Katsuki hated Midoriya, calling him 'Deku' all the time. They rounded the corner, a bicolour-haired boy was walking towards them. He and Hikari walked right into each other, both dropping their books.
"I'm sorry!" Hikari apologized, she didn't even see him as the walked around the corner.
She used her quirk, using the element air, and separated their books from each other, giving him his books. He gave her a cold stare "That's fine," He said taking his books "I should have been watching where I was going."
Hikari walked around him with Midoriya before continuing to class.
"I wonder who-" He started
"He's Shoto Todoroki, Endeavour's son." Hikari answered him.
Midoriya looked at her surprised, but shrugged it off.
They arrived to class, and were late.
"Where were you two?" Their teacher asked them.
He looked like he hadn't slept in days, and half his face was covered with ink black hair.
"My name is Shota Aizawa, I will be your homeroom teacher." The man spoke with a tired edge.
Hikari and Midoriya scuttled to the two available seats, one next to the bicolour-haired boy, Todoroki, and one next to a blue haired boy. They went up and introduce themselves, and told their quirk to everyone.
"My name is Hikari Bakugou, and my quirks are-"
"Quirks?" It was the blue haired boy
"My quirks are-"
"Do you have two?" The boy asked again.
"My quirks are Elemental Manipulation and Empathy. I can control and manipulate any element, but after using that element without a break for twenty-five minutes plus, I will start to get side effects of that element. With my other quirk, Empathy, when touching someone I can feel all of their emotions and feel emotional roadblocks and stuff like that."
She sat back down with everyone staring at her. Another student got up. It was the blue-haired boy.
"My name is Tenya Iida, my quirk is Engine. I have engines in my legs that give me boosts of speed. A lot of my power is in my legs."
He sat down and stared straight at Mr. Aizawa. A shiver ran down Hikari's back.
