Lucy's POV I held on to the caramel-skinned boy's small hand as I moved him away from the living room where his parents arguing like always. "Come let's get some cookies". I said pulling him away. "Mamma angwy?". Heinrich asked with a look of concern on his face. Even though he was only three, he was an intelligent little boy and he was also very sensitive and could detect a stressful environment, I knelt down to his level. "No mama's not angry, she's just tired, yes?". I said and he nodded pouting his lips. I smiled at him. "Come let's get some cookies". I said ruffling his blonde curls and his blue eyes lit up as we walked into the kitchen. I picked him up putting him on a chair and gave him a cookie putting the milk next to the plate of freshly baked chocolate cookies. "Twank wu".
