I couldn't help but widely grin as I laid my tired body on the bed. “Candy,” I mumbled, looking at my cat next to me. She was sitting nicely and staring at me, waiting for me to speak. “Come,” I whispered, which she did. She sat on my chest, and I caressed her soft, furry skin.
