Another week had swiftly rolled by once more, almost a month since Mia and I broke up. I was on my way to the farmhouse with my siblings and their family. I was busy answering some emails when I heard Thea gasped. “Oh, wow…” She said, looking at her phone. All our eyes and attention shifted at her.

“Alex…” she mumbled, arching her brow at me. “He’s engaged,”
“With whom?” Selina quickly asked.
“With Rhoda Brown, Mia’s make-up artist,” Thea replied.
