The sudden taste of nasty bile in my mouth roused me up from my sleep. Instinctively, I got myself up and rushed towards the bathroom. In split seconds, I was already inside, crouching and planting my face on the toilet bowl.
There, I retched whatever stomach contents my body had. I projectile vomited until the last fluid until I felt better and relieved. Inhaling deeply, I closed my eyes and checked if I could finally stand and wash my face.
When I felt good to go, and there was no more to puke, I flushed the toilet and carefully stood up. Then, I headed straight to the sink to wash my face and brush whatever gnarly taste was lingering in my mouth.
