“Leo?! f**k!” I screamed, punching the tree next to me. I was beyond livid after hearing Greg’s words. I knew Leo was up to something, but I didn’t expect it sooner.
“Boss… still there?” I heard Greg asked.
“Yes! Tell me what you know! Did you call the police?” I asked while huffing and puffing deep breaths.
“Yes, but it seemed Leo was getting back up from someone big,” Greg answered. “I was around the area, but I got sidetracked…I’m sorry,” he added. I trusted Greg to watch over them, but he failed me this time.
“We will talk about that later. I needed a quick help,” I said, looking at my dad.
“Let me see what I can do, boss. The police are here, but we really needed someone who could dig more information. I will call you soon,” Greg continued.
