Fiona fell asleep during the car ride, only to be woken up by the driver gently tapping her and telling her that they were at Sebastian's house. She stepped out of the car, and stretched out her tired limbs while using her mouth to cover up the yawn that was incoming. Her eyes gaze at the large mansion that was set in front of her. Its structure looked very modern and yet unique compared to other houses that she has seen when her dad used to take her out to visit his rich friends back in the day. Her eyes went from the imposing structure to the front of the house, which had two people standing at the doorway that lead to the inside of the house. One of them was the man that her father lost the bet too, and the other was who she could only guess to be his son. She approached them, and folded her hands in front the two men, they could see it in her posture that she was not happy to be there. "Why hello there Fiona, I believed that yer journey here was a nice one." The man said smiling at her, "Yes it was nice..." Her eyes went to meet the other man standing next to him, wearing a casual piece of clothing that consisted of white t-shirt with a plunging neckline that showed off his chest, and a pair of washed blue jeans that was just tight enough to show off his very thick thighs. "Ah, this is my son, Eric, Eric this is Fiona, your contracted wife." Fiona, trying to be formal brought out her hands for him to shake, which he ignored, walking straight into the house. The man let out a defeated sigh, "I am sorry about him, he is just going through a lot right now." "Ah it's fine, it's ok." Fiona said hiding her irritation that he completely left her hanging, only for him to go back inside. "Why don't I take you to your room?" "I would love that." **** Fiona room in this house was ten times bigger than the one she had back home. There was a large King Sized bed that occupied majority of the space in the room, a small walk in closet that probably would fit most of the clothes she brought here. There was also an ensuite bathroom, that she was hoping to check out later. Her weight made the hardwood floors creak underneath her. "Anyways, this is your bedroom," the man who's name she now knows as Sebastian, said dropping her suitcase for her to organize. "Thank you very much sir," she said in a very polite tone. "No problem, you can change up and come downstairs for lunch with me and my son. After lunch both you and my son would have a conversation getting to know each other more, does that sound alright to you?" Fiona nodded her head in agreement. "But, with the way he behaves earlier, I doubt if he would like to have any form of conversation with me." "Oh don't mind him, he is just having a bad day that's all." He said waving his hand dismissively. "Well if you say so." Sebastian excused her so that she could relax a little bit, before lunch time. She changed into a pretty t-shirt and a skirt that stopped at her knee. Then she bounded down the staircase, and then suddenly became lost, she scratched the top of head with her finger, her legs dragging her to where she most likely would guess is where the dinning room is. Turns out she was right, the dinning room was the first door she opened up after she took a turn to a random corner. She opened up the door and was greeted with the scent of roasted potatoes and chicken, it was laid out in the dinning table, and seated at the head of the table was Sebastian, and right next to him was Eric. The both of them looked at her and Eric eyes looked the other way, pretending not to see her. Sebastian pointed at the chair that was in the opposite side of where Eric was seated in, then took her seat quite briskly. Then they proceed to eat, which was weird cause she was used to saying a prayer before eats anything. "Um, sorry to ask. Don't you people pray before you eat?" The moment the question came out of her mouth, she wished she could take it back, cause the look on both father and son faces was enough to make her wish for the ground to open up and swallow her. "No, we don't." Sebastian said, and then Fiona felt her cheeks turn red with embarrassment. "But it's ok if you want to pray." Sebastian added, seeing as she was feeling embarrassed. Fiona told him thank you, then she closed her eyes putting her hands together. After some few minutes of prayer, she said a silent amen opening her eyes and dishing out the food that was in front of her. There was a silence in the dinning room, which made Fiona just feel awkward. However she wasn't complaining about the silence, at least it's a bit better than unnecessary small talk. Her eyes were down, eating the food in front of her, then she looked up and saw Eric looking at her with a blank expression. She stared back at him wondering why he was looking at her like that, then he broke off the eye contact. 'That was weird.' Fiona said in her mind. "Eric, would you mind taking a walk with Fiona? At least you two getting to talk and knowing each other better." Eric let out gruff and stood up, Sebastian tried calling him back, but all his calls were ignored as Eric walked towards the door and left the dining room. Sebastian once again let out a sigh, he apologized to Fiona on behalf of his son's behavior. "It's ok, I mean you did say that he is going through a lot right?" Sebastian just nodded his head, they both went quiet, as they both ate their food in silence.
