Kenneth At day four her fever started to cool down. I spent three nights beside her, keeping vigil. I was afraid that she’d succumb to her death if I didn’t remain here with her. She looked too fragile to be left alone. The only time I walked away from her was when Hunter had shoved me in the bathroom and then brought me something to eat. It had been my dark eyes and the look of uncertainty in my face that had made him act on his brotherly affection.  That was last night. And since then her fever had remarkably cooled but she hasn’t woken up. She had murmured in her sleep and suffered through her nightmares. Many a times I had laid beside her with her in my arms as her body had raged with the fever and only my ice cold body would give her the relief she needed and settle her down. Ateli
