I swore I only closed my eyes for what felt like 10 minutes before I started hearing violent noises around me. The sound of splintering wood shattered the silence, and my heart leaped into my throat as I realized what was happening. I wasn’t exactly sure what it was because the sound was coming from the outside of the cabin and I was inside with Connor, but then, Something hinted at my mind that it could be only one thing and I was going to face the kind of danger that I had never encountered before.
