MARIA'S POV Connor’s knuckles were bleeding. I covered my mouth as I watched him plant fists on the wall, paying no attention to who just walked in—me. The blood from his hands was now dripping on the floor. His eyes were reddened, and I could see that he was focused on hurting himself for some reason I do not yet know and was yet to confirm. My eyes widened as I stood frozen, and soon, instincts kicked in, and I rushed towards him. “Connor, please, stop!” I yelled, unable to witness the horrible sight any longer.
