The clock on my watch struck 2:00 PM, signaling lunchtime.
My gaze shifted to the new car key sitting on my desk, and a smile tugged at my lips.
"Hey, how about we step out a little?" I said to to the car key, as though it had ears and could hear me. I knew I had to test the car.
It was the perfect opportunity to take my new car for a spin and grab a bite to eat. The thought of riding in my own car brought a sense of freedom and excitement.
