Paying The Price

Chapter 2

Kiara P.O.V

"Oh my God! Wait who is Mitchell Johnson?" I asked

"You know what Kiara you are fired" what! I didn't even do any serious damage to his clothe and you can't just fire because of an irrelevant person" I argued

"Kiara leave" he shouted. Please sir I am sorry i wont ever do that again, I promise, i begged but he just walked away. I stood up from my kneeling position and walked out angrily.

I decided to go to Karen's school since I have just been fired by an insignificant bug. When i got there I found my sister being bullied by a boy and his friends. I ran towards them and they ran away but i caught the leader of the bullies.

"Don't you think it is wrong to beat girls. It makes you a coward "i shouted at him.

"You will regret ever touching me" he said and ran away. That statement sound familiar, i wont be shocked to find out they are brothers. I looked at Karen who was still shaken and i know that their are two things that can cause my sister to be bullied. It is either because she is an orphan or because she is here on scholarship.

"Karen what happened? " I asked. Kiara that was Mark Johnson, you shouldnt have touched him.

What was the possibility that Mitchell Johnson and Mark Johnson are related. I wondered. Okay I am beginning to get scared. Who the f**k are this people?

Sound like a bunch of arrogant people to me. "Common Karen, we have to go and report him to the principal" I said

"I don't think it will make any difference though" she said. It dosent matter I said as I dragged her along. I knocked on the principal door and I was asked to come in.

"Good day Mrs Roberto" I said and narrated all that happened to her she was shocked but i think I was more shocked when she said "what have you done Miss Dollar?"

I was asked to take my sister home and come back the next day to resolve the issue. I decided to drop Karen at Nina and told her I will be back to explain everything to her.

I went back home to rest so i could later go to Mrs Nelson's house for the cleaning job. I heard a knock on the door and when i opened I saw Max at the door. I sighed internally "what is it this time" I said. Call me rude I dont care but i have always had this bad feeling towards him

"Can i come in" he said. Why would he want to come into my house, i wondered. I let him but didn't invite him to sit cause he was an uninvited guest.

"My father plans on selling the house and immediately he finds a buyer for it he is going to send you and your sister out" he smirked.

"But I could help you" he continued. How do you plan on helping me? i asked him already having this bad feeling of something about to go wrong.

I felt more disturbed when he started walking towards me in slow steps. He came towards me when I said "step back or I will shout". "You are free to do so but just know that we are the only one in the whole building" he said.

I was becoming scared, i should have been nicer to him from the beginning maybe this will never have had to happen, i thought

I was now laying flat on the couch and he was hovering above me when the door suddenly opened
