Goden Bran heard the door of the study being opened and closed.he did not sip his favorite black coffee.
He dropped the papers and could not calm down. His head was a jumble and he was struggling to make sense of what had happened today.
He walked up the stairs and frowned slightly as he heard the waves crashing.
And you are going to find another guy before we even get divorced?
He stood by the window, smoking a cigarette.
Ava was surprised to see him when she stepped outside.
Ava faked a grin at his cool gaze.
"Have you eaten yet?" she asked in an icy voice.
Goden Bran narrowed his eyes and approached her.
He entered angrily, as if she had done something wrong.
He undid her collar and looked coldly at the kiss mark on her neck. "Ava Lins! "We are not even divorced yet "
He grinned, grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her in front of the mirror, where he forced her to the floor. He forced her to raise her head and show the kiss on her neck. "Do not tell me you went up!"
Ava was taken aback. She had not seen the fuzzy mark on her neck...
"Goden, listen to me, it's not that, I..."
"Do you need a man to be happy? Maybe you need a man! "
and she was powerless to explain .
How could he speak so harshly about her?
He pushed her away as she looked for him. "Do not touch me!"
He strode past her and picked up the car keys from the couch.
"Everyone!"
She pursued, but he did not stop.
"Ugh!"
She crumpled to her feet and slumped, unable to catch up with him. But he closed the door and disappeared.
Her ankle hurt so badly she could not stand. It hurt so much she wanted to cry.
A black car sped through the darkness.
It shot out like an arrow, whipping up a breeze that blew the dry leaves into the air.
He stepped on the gas, put the car in gear and accelerated .
As the blue lights and siren ahead went out, his heart sank and he jerked the wheel around, hitting the guardrail and missing the truck.
His car's headlights flashed, he smashed fences and the hood flipped up.
Goden Bran's fists balled into fists, his clear features etched with rage and his black eyes glowing with a depth no one could understand.
He slammed thedoor, still angry. "s**t!"
The moonlight was a sad shroud that enveloped them.
Ava Lins waited all night and he did not come back.
She made breakfast thinking he could eat it when he came back and then go to work without being hungry. The doorbell rang and Ava went to answer it, thinking he had returned.
But the man at the door was Goden Bran's assistant, who helped him get his things.
Ava was displeased.
A bad omen for her husband.
She made Goden a delicious breakfast and had the assistant carry it into the company, knowing he would get sick if he drank coffee without eating.
It took her almost an hour to bring him a snack.
But Goden Bran dropped the package in the trash can in less than a minute.
Assistant groaned softly, but he did not dare say more.
When Boss handed him the food, he had to remember to let him eat it.
How would the lady react when she realized her good intentions had been abused?
When Goden Bran's phone rang, he looked at the screen, furrowed his brows, then pressed the answer button.
Do you remember telling your mother you were getting a divorce? After so long, I have found some decent women for you. "When are you going to date?"
"Can not you please find such ladies for your son?" said Goden Bran, drawing his brows together even more.
"What, someone better than Ava Lins? "
The woman's fate is terrible and she would bring happiness to her husband,do you understand? Look at her family: a father who loves gambling, a sister who is disabled, and a brother who is still in school. "I said.
"Mom!"
"What's that all about now? Leave me alone."
"Bring me a suitable daughter-in-law and I will not let you worry."
So I will bring her back tonight.
Goden Bran called Belli Tannu immediately after he hung up. "Wait for me after work, I will pick you up and take you to my mother," he offered shortly after the call.
Belli Tannu hung up the phone, but it rang again
"Belli Tannu, are you available tonight?" said Ava Lins dejectedly.
Belli Tannu said she was going to my friend's parents' house tonight.
Ava was happy for her, but sighed about why she could not find anyone who loved her...
But she stayed with Goden Bran.
She clutched the pen, not noticing that she was sitting in a meeting. Her colleagues were all staring at her.
"Ava Lins!" an unhappy voice called out.
She was surprised and mortified as she looked at the manager.
"Do you have any problems with the decision we just made?" the manager said, his cheeks flushed.
"No objections!" Ava shook her head.
How dare she object at this crucial moment? She had not even heard about the meeting. If she had any reservations, she would be at a disadvantage.
Ava Lins will be in charge of this project. It's the first time my company has worked withCiqi Group, so we have to take it seriously.
"I have already informed theCiqi Group people that you will be responsible for this project starting today," he said to Ava, who was surprised and confused.
