I woke up to the sun streaming through the windows, the curtains were open which caused the whole room to be bright. I glance down to see Gray still asleep on my chest, well that's a first he's normally awake before me. This gave me the opportunity to think about what he told me last night, I knew from the stories I heard before that his father was a horrible individual. But I would have never thought he would take his own daughters life, just because she was going to be next in line for the throne. I can't even imagine what was going through that little girls head, the man that's supposed to protect you from all the "monsters" is the one that actually hurt you.
