Jaspar put her foot on the gas and Olivia felt the rush of adrenaline.
The scenery on either side was receding rapidly, gradually being drawn into two thin, colored images as the vehicle passed through the middle.
It was this feeling, the negative emotions brought on by what she had encountered a month earlier, and the desperate need for such a frantic move to relieve them.
Olivia had seen her dear friend and her dear boyfriend Klem tangled up in full nudity a month or so earlier, when she unexpectedly found out that he had cheated on her best friend, or she didn't know how much longer she would have been cheated on. She broke up the next day and she didn't stroll out on such an undignified affair, but such a scandal could leak through any c***k.
What she had the hardest time understanding were those who advised her to get Klem's heart back, after all, he never seemed to do anything wrong, just had a few minor flaws.
What do they mean by minor flaws? The man had just said "I love you" on the phone, and the next thing you know, he's taking off his girlfriend's friend's clothes.
He betrayed her, betrayed all the vows and the past between them.
Olivia grabbed the necklace off her neck and threw it in the trash. It was a gift that Klem had given her when she confessed her love for him, and she had cherished it so much that now she felt nothing but disgust.
Olivia felt the deep malice of those around her and locked herself in her room for a month.
Now her heart no longer had the fragile feeling of being stabbed, she felt that she was now a superhero with great power, and the chariot she was riding was traveling at several hundred kilometers per hour on the road.
The past was all behind her, and she felt she had left behind those who had hurt her, but for some reason, she couldn't stop the tears.
"Are you frightened? Why are you in tears?" Jaspar, who was in the driver's seat, finally managed to notice her abnormality before she could suppress her tears. He was thoughtful enough to pull over immediately.
"I'm fine."
Olivia was wiping her tears with her head down, she felt a little embarrassed, how could she still be so vulnerable? She didn't want to leave such an impression on Jaspar, whom she was meeting for the first time.
Without pretending that nothing had happened, he reached out and gently stroked her tear stains. His hand turned her face away without a word, but his voice was soft, "Hey! I'm still here, so if you need help, you just say so. I'll keep driving if you want to race; I'll sit here if you need a listener."
The tears Olivia had managed to stop began to well up again as she suddenly received the tenderness of a stranger, a man so handsome that she had to admit she was only meeting him for the first time, but Jaspar gave her a kindness and tenderness that that jerk of an ex-boyfriend simply didn't compare to.
She finally took the initiative to turn her head to look at him, and in a vision blurred by tears, he became a tall, soft shadow.
She threw herself into his arms.
"Can you lie to me?" She wrapped her arms tightly around him, her sobs tinged with great sorrow, "Can you say you love me? It's okay to lie to me, but don't tell me! I just want someone to love me!"
Jaspar looked down at the woman in his arms, she was actually very beautiful, maybe she wasn't as fashionable as the girls he often dated, but there was something precious shining in her eyes, something special enough to mark her presence, something that he was able to see and be fascinated by.
"I confess that I love you, Your Highness, and I swear on all the glory of the first half of my life."
Olivia was half in Jaspar's arms, and she stared at his face with fascination and serious attention, smiling after his sudden solemn vow.
"Thank you, but you don't have to try so hard, I'm already happy."
The fresh spring water scent of his body was still there, and such close proximity made her wrapped up in the scent as well. She stared out of breath at his lips and glanced up at his eyes again.
The signal was received, Jaspar tilted his head slightly and soft lips touched, it was a rolling kiss. The longer it went on, the more frantic the two became. It was as if she was lit up and her head was dizzy, the two pressed together, the intertwining of lips and teeth made her so mad that she was almost about to faint.
It took a long time before Jaspar released Olivia, and he cupped her face, stroking her renewed tear stains.
"Feel the love I have for you?" His voice was low and slightly muffled, and his eyes still held the remaining desire.
"Felt it." She was very nervous now, this was the first time she had given herself to a stranger she had just met. She pulled out her phone anyway and reported the day to her friend.
She didn't know everything about this stranger except his name, she didn't even know his relationship status, if he had a girlfriend, and if she was being a bad woman.
Jaspar resumed driving, and he looked firmly ahead this time.
They drove all the way downtown and then into a quiet villa area, the car slowed down in front of a huge metal gate and then a villa so spacious that it looked like a small castle appeared in front of them. Olivia had envisioned Jaspar's wealth but also to such an extent that she didn't even know there were such quiet and spacious living areas in the city. This was the second time she had seen a magazine house in reality.
Then a line of uniformed servants literally appeared in front of them, and they opened the door for Olivia as soon as the car stopped.
She felt a hint of shortness at this point; she had followed Jaspar here on some impulse.
He came around and took the dazed woman in his arms.
" You all leave; dinner will be excused for now."
The door behind her had just closed, and Olivia didn't have a chance to look at the unfamiliar room before Jaspar stole her full attention.
He cupped her face, the kiss that fell first was gentle and restrained, and he gave her a few shallow pecks before staring into her eyes. She saw the complete her in his eyes, a trap tempting enough to know that she might bear the consequences of this madness, but couldn't resist jumping in.
There was only one thing she cared about now, "You don't have a girlfriend, do you?"
Jaspar froze for a moment, then couldn't help but laugh, "Yes, Princess. So far I'm still single."
That enough, she took off her jacket and wrapped her long, slender arms around his waist.
"Just for tonight, please love me."
