CHAPTER 9

LUCAS'S POV-

Olivia seemed to be now in better mood and i am glad that she is able to overcome everything that happened and trying to be normal again. when we both were in the hospital and i was getting treated in Susan's checkup room 

she said "you are lucky Lucas that you found such a beautiful, strong and brave girl. take care of her and don't play with her.i am sure you will not remain a Casanova anymore. she needs rest. her cut is deep so she needs to take rest or else i am afraid it will be worse than already it is and i am really happy for you."

"indeed Susan, she is strong but she is just another random girl in my life Susan so don't get your hopes high. she is my personal assistant and about her health, don't worry about it i will take care of it." i said assuring her and i saw a look of disappointment on her face. Susan is the only girl who is actually a friend to me and she knows that i have never fell in love and be a s*x addict only.so i gave Olivia an off and i too want to have break from office and give myself some time.

"Olivia tell me your house address. i will drop you at your home." i said to which she replied " you don't have to worry about it Lucas. drop me at the office. my car is parked there." while give me a small smile. 

"don't take tension about your car. my driver will drive your car to your home today only but i can't let you drive alone so stop being stubborn and tell me your house location.''  and she told me her house address.

when i reached her house, i stopped the car and she tried to untie her seat belt but failed as her chest was paining because of contraction so i wanted to untie it for her and suddenly i shift myself towards her seat and my face is just inches away from her face. i can feel her breath on my face and our eyes were locked.  i untied her seat belt but i stayed in the same position with her.  and i saw her lips were opened a little and i wanted to kiss her so i leaned towards her and started kissing her lips. she remained still at her spot. her lips are so soft and luscious and i wanted to taste her mouth but suddenly she started pushing me away.

i broke the kiss and she just slapped me and cried of pain because of the strong hand movement. i was too angry but at that time i got worried about her bruise as it is deep so i asked her if she is fine but she didn't replied instead she went out of the car and started moving towards the door. i quickly went out of the car to check if she is fine and she was about to fall when i held her strongly in my arms. They started walking towards her house and Olivia rung the door bell. Her mother opened the door and looked at Olivia with concern and called someone. " oh my god Cherie! what happened to you. just come and relax." she looked at me with confused eyes and glared me a bit but allowed me to come in.

i have never been treated like this because no women no matter what age always fell in love with my looks but looks like Olivia and her mother are immune to my charms. when i went inside i saw a very handsome and a tall yet old built up man holding Olivia carefully. i assume he is Olivia's father. he made Olivia sit on the sofa and looked at me and asked me to sit. then he asked "who are you young man and will you explain how this happened?"

"hello Mr. Pierce i am Lucas Donavan, CEO of Donavan Enterprises and boss of your daughter. we went to a restaurant to have lunch together on my demand and some goons attacked that restaurant but your daughter saved me and everyone present over there and you must be really proud to have a daughter like her. the goons are now in police custody and don't worry she is fine and needs proper rest so i have given her 2 days off." i said it at once and gave his father an assuring smile.

her father has an intimidating aura and he was looking at me like reading my mind. he then said "thank you Mr. Donavan for taking care of my child. stay here and have dinner with us as our gratitude." to which i said "oh thank you so much sir but i need to leave now as i have some pending works to do" and we shook hands with each other and i left her place with many questions and anger and frustration towards the slap that i got. but it's not the right time to settle accounts with her. i will not spare you easily for this Olivia just wait and watch.

i drove to my office to get some of my important stuff. while sitting inside the office i called my friend jack and said "i am sending you some details about a girl named Olivia. i want her every minute detail tomorrow first thing in the morning. if you get late, your wife will know everything about your mistress then buddy so the earlier the better buddy."

"whoa that was harsh of a friend Lucas, are you that eager to f**k this girl or there is something else?" asked jack clearly smirking on the other side.

"mind your business jack or i will f**k your mind really bad and you know me well don't you?" now i said him smirking. i have always been a jackass to my friends and they know how arrogant i am so they are now habitual to it.

"alright i will find out everything about this girl by tomorrow and i must say that girl is now in trouble. good bye." and cut the call. 

i don't know why i was getting so angry now because of that slap but was not angry till the time i was at her home. what is happening. i called gemma, one of my f***s i met in the club and i hooked up with her later. "gemma come to my penthouse in 30 minutes. don't be late else you want to get punished." and drove to my penthouse.
