“I’m so sorry, and so, so selfish! How could I forget about the stone? Gio’s been waiting years to get rid of that damn thing, and the second I got the chance to strip my powers, I did and left him out in the cold. How could I do that?” I wailed as I broke down crying. Gio tried to comfort and assure me, but I was beyond consolable.
