“We’re heading home tonight, Gio has his final check-up with Dorian this morning at the clinic here at the packhouse, then we both should be cleared to go. It’s been so much fun, I love the ladies and the pack members down here,” I said.
“I’m sure you do, it’s a beautiful territory, but your momma misses you. FaceTime calls just aren’t good enough when I find out that my baby is getting married and that she’s been successfully turned. How are things going with Riley? Do you think you will shift soon?” my mom asked.
“They’re great. Riley’s sweet, a little saucy, and completely in love. It’s strange to have a voice that can just pop up in my head whenever and wherever, but I’ve loved talking to her and getting to know her. I’m excited to see what she looks like.”
