I left my little one there and went towards the doctor's cabin. I knocked on door and there was a faint come in sound

"Mr. malhotra, your daughter is fine. there's nothing to worry about " the Dr said with a small smile.

"thank you Dr" I said to the Dr.

when the Dr told me that there's nothing to worry about ishani I was relieved. I don't know but the little princess was somehow making a place in my heart.

"Shani come princess we will get your ice-cream now " I said to ishani as I made my way towards her.

"Vese whal (what) is youl (your) name? "ishani asked me with a thinking face.

"little princess, I'm vihan " I said to her taking her in my arms.

"will be my friend Shani? "I asked ishani with a hopeful face. I don't know why but this little princess was making me feel like she was my daughter....wait! what did I just said? I wasn't even looking at women and now I'm saying that I feel like she is my own. I'm really getting mad.

but there a little sound in my heart telling me that some day I'll want a daughter from my wife just like Shani.

"ummm okay I'll be your friend but can I call you daddy? " she questioned me.

to say that I was shocked would be an understatement.

"okay! okay! you manipulater, you can call me daddy and I'll call you Shani OK? " I asked her understanding what she was doing.

ishani's face lit up like a start. she giggled and a small okay to me. we went to the nearest ice cream parlor. where we both had our ice-cream. being we a child is fun.

after some time

"okay Shani princess! come on now tell me how you get in front of my car? " I asked ishani in a fathery tone.

"vo... vo daddy... " she was being nervous like I caught her stealing candy.

"Shani, princess! you can tell me okay. I'll not scroll you " I said to ishani.

"promise " ishani asked her head still down.

"promise Shani " I said.

"there's nobody good in school today Priya again make me realize that I don't have a father. I want to fight her but she pushed me and I fall down, this cut on my elbo was not because of you daddy. that was her." ishani told me everything and I was stunned. I never thought a little girl can be this mature. now I knew why she did, what she did.

"Shani, first plz stop crying "I wiped her tears.

"Shani who said you don't have a father. you call me your daddy right? " she nodded

"so from now on Meri(my) Shani princess no cryimg okay" she smiled a little.

"and you'll never do something like today no running away from school okay? " I said to making her nod again.

after all that I dropped her to her school and talked to her teachers not to tell her mother anything. she may understand all this but ishani is still sad. and I can't see my daughter sad. I make them believe that I am her father. so they didn't make so many questions. in all this my little princess was happy.

"daddy!" ishani called me when I was about to leave.

"yes princess " I bent down to her level.

" you'll come to meet me again ?" it was a statement but it sounded more like a question.

I looked at her face she was on the verge of tears.

"Shani, I promise I'll come to meet you again " I wiped her tears and kissed my little princess's forehead.
