Here I am, listening to Kidd explain to me why I should be ok with being bait.. This is ridiculous.

"If Micheal finds out u and the twins aren't here, he won't show. If he knows your here, he'll come and Lil M, Tay, DJ, D and I will be here to take him out. Soon as he walk in Jay, he's done for"

With my arms crossed, I couldn't help but agree. If Micheal finds out nobody is here, he'll know it's a set up. But damn, I just wish he would have let me know.

"What happen to us being a team? I thought we were in this together" I said softly. He slowly walked closer to me and put his hands on my waist.

"We are baby"

"No were not. If we were, u would have let me know something instead of leaving me in the dark"

"Your right baby. I was wrong for not telling u about the plan when your a huge part of it. I'm sorry. Forgive me?"

"Don't let it happen again"

"I won't, now can we go and have our alone time out back?" he asked. I was hesitant about that.

"Can we have it in here? I'm still a little iffy about people coming in here while the twins here"

"Yea we can do that. While I shower, get some snacks and make the room all relaxed and shyt"

I nodded as he walked into the bathroom. I made popcorn, grabbed some tortilla chips and dipping sauce along with soda and water. I walked back to the room, layed 3 thick blankets on the floor along with pillows, lit a shyt load of candles and layed on them waiting for Kidd.

"Who u texting?" he asked, coming out in basketball shorts and a wife beater.

"Rasheen, their interrogating the 2 guys and the family" I told him.

"Iight cool"

"U know, u don't have to be here"

"What u mean?" he asked.

"U can go do your job. We can talk tomorrow. I know this Micheal situation is important a-"

"And so are u" he interrupted "If I had a choice, I'd be here all day everyday with u and the twins. But since I don't have a choice, anytime I get with my family, I'm taking it"

I didn't even know what to say so I just nodded. "U got it smellin good in here" he smiled, scooting closer to me "It does feel relaxed though"

I looked over at him as he licked his lips, eyeing my body. When he met me eyes, he smirked. Immediately, I blushed and looked away.

He chuckled "Why u being shy?"

"Ain't nobody shy around u"

"Yea? Then sit on my lap"

Damn, he got me.

"Soo, u wanted this alone time to talk about where we going or what we are right?" I asked, eating some chips and dip.

He nodded and did the same. I decided to get comfortable and put my legs on either of his spread legs. We sat close, chest to chest. My legs open and over his.

"The night we had s*x, everything I said was true." I said honestly "But I don't want u to think u can f**k up, have s*x with me and everything's good after that"

"I understand. But it was just s*x to u?" he asked, still eating.

"At first, I thought that's all it was gonna be. But the things u were saying to me and the way u made me feel, I knew it was something way more"

"Oh, well just to let u know, I don't think I can f**k u over, have s*x then we'll be good. I know that isn't true because that's not that type of girl u are. Your someone I'm willing to fight for and spend all my time trying to get back"

I looked down and smiled "That's sweet Kidd a-"

"Naw don't call me that"

"Wait why? I always call u Kidd though" I don't understand why he doesn't want me calling him that now.

"U know what to call me. I don't want u calling me Kidd anymore" he shrugged, taking a sip of water.

"But remember when u said only call u Ky when we're alone?"

"We're alone now." he stated "And every one already knows we're together so there's no point in trying to hide it right? "

"Right" I smiled. He smirked at me and kept eating "What?"

"We together right?"

I scooted closer to him, our areas inches apart. He had cheese on the side of his mouth so I casually kissed that area and flicking my tongue to remove the cheese.

"Right" I smiled.
