I was awken by Rasheen playing with my bottom lip. When I opened my eyes he was smiling down at me. "Get up, it's almost 4:15"

I sat up and yawned before walking into the bathroom "I didn't get a chance to shower last night. Can u put the twins in the car? Then their bags along with mine? And there's 2 bags in the fridge, one with drinks the others with snacks"

"Damn ok." He chuckled "Go ahead and shower. I got it"

I thanked him before brushing my teeth and getting into the shower.

Once I finished, I threw on a pair of pink sweats and a pink hoodie. I put my wet hair in a sloppy bun and grabbed my phone.

"Ready to go?" I asked Rasheen as I started up the car. I looked back at the twins and they were still asleep.

"Yea, roll out"

I plugged my phone up up to the car charger and made my way to California. Lord, please be with me.

After 1 full day of driving, switching with Rasheen and the twins falling asleep then waking up, we finally made it to California.

I took over and drove to a hotel that was just 10 minutes away from Grams house. Rasheen and I unloaded the car then bathed the twins and they fell asleep.

"Yo I'm exhausted" I said flopping down on the bed. Rasheen crawled on top of me and layed his chest on my face. I laughed while trying to push him off. "Get off me"

"I'm so tired" he groaned, getting off me. "I'm gonna shower then I'm out"

While he was showering, I layed out the twins outfit for the morning since we're going to see Grams. After laying out my outfit, I layed out Rasheen's as well.

After he showered, I did also. It was 6 in the morning when I got out so I set my alarm for 12 then fell asleep.

"Jay, wake up. It's 12" I head Rasheen say. I swear it feels like I've been sleep for 10 minutes. "I dressed the twins and I'm ready. We just waitin on u"

I sat up and stretched "Thanks boo" I said walking towards the bathroom. After doing my morning hygiene, I put on skinny jeans, a simple tank top and my concords.

"Mommy, I look like u" Ciara said smiling at me as I walked to the front room. We were both wearing jeans, a white tank top and our concords.

I smiled and picked her up "So your my twin today huh?" I asked, kissing her cheek.

"Yes mommy, I'm your twin"

"What about me?" Carter said, walking up to us with his arms crossed. "Sissy u my twin"

"U can be my twin Carter. I got u lil man" Rasheen said picking him up too. Carter stuck his tongue outvat Ciara and I, while we just laughed.

"Ok come on y'all, we're going to see Grams"

The twins cheered "Will daddy be there? " Carter asked.

"Yea u say daddy with Grams. Will he mommy?" Ciara added. I looked towards Rasheen and he nodded.

"I'll make sure daddy is there ok?"

Pulling up to Grams house, I sighed. This is it, it's really happening. Rasheen and I got out the car then took the twins out. I walked up to the door, holding their hands while Rasheen walked behind me, rubbing circles in my back. He knew I was freaking out and that was really helping.

"Knock y'all"

The twins knocked and a few seconds later, Grams opened the door. When she saw me she smiled, but then her smile grew when she saw the twins.

"Grams" they yelled together running to her. I've showed the pictures of Grams also. She hugged them tight then hugged me and Rasheen.

Rasheen and I were sitting on the couch while the twins were upstairs. "I haven't seen u in 5 years sweetie. U look good"

"Thanks Grams, u looking good yourself."

She smiled and flipped her hair "Well u know. Anyway, how long y'all been together?"

"We're just friends. He's my best friend" I told her honestly.

"When did y'all get here?" she asked.

"This morning. I would've come tomorrow but I was just so excited to see u"

We continued catching up when Grams asked a question I honestly didn't want her to. "Do they know who their father is?"

I knew that question was just the beginning "Yes, I've showed them pictures. Talked to them about him, all that"

"What did u tell them when they asked for him?" she asked.

"I told them he was here with u. Speaking of which, I promised them he'd come see them today. Can u call him and have him come over? "

"Are u sure your ready for that?"

"It doesn't matter if I am or not. I promised he'd see them so that's what I'll make sure happens" I told her.

She smiled at me and stood up "I'll be back"

I sighed and leaned on Rasheen's shoulder. "Thanks for being here Rasheen."

He pulled me closer and kissed my forehead "No problem ma, u know I got u"

A few minutes later, I heard the front door open and the voice I haven't heard in 5 years.

"Aye Grams, where u-"

He stopped talking when he saw Rasheen and I on the couch.

"Wassup" he smiled lightly.

I turned towards Rasheen.

"What u doin here? The reunion ain't until next week"

"I came to see Grams and your kids asked about u too, so I said why not" I said shrugging. He smiled wide.

"Where they at?"

Just as he asked Ciara and Carter came running downstairs. They locked eyes with Kidd and ran into his arms.

"Hi daddy, I missed u oh so much" Ciara said, being overly drama to as always.

Kidd sat down and put the both on his lap "U missed me huh?"

"Yes but I came to tell on Carter" she pouted.

"What he do?" Kidd asked.

"He took my candy"

"Nu uh, mommy said ask. I did ask Ciara"

"Ciara did he ask for your candy?" I asked her. She nodded "And what u say?"

"I say no mommy and he still take it"

I chuckled "Carter, stop taking things from your sister. Next time, I'm gon beat u. Ciara, share with your brother and stop being mean. Now apologize and hug it out"

"I'm sorry Sissy"

"I'm sorry broder"

They hopped off Kidd's lap and hugged each other before starting a full conversation with Kidd. I couldn't help but smile at how happy they were.
