“When is he to be back?” Bassel pocketed his phone and smiled again. “Erm…” Thor glanced at Dag. He had no idea when he normally went to bed. “I’m working till three.” Bassel winced. “I’m not gonna be awake till three.” “No, of course not.” He yawned when he thought about having to be up for another twelve hours, and then get up three-four hours later to get Dag ready for school. A fond look stole over Bassel’s face, and Thor wanted it to mean more than it did. He wanted Bassel to care. Stupid. Bassel had problems of his own. “We’ll sort it.
