Calliope’s POV
Yay, I’m so excited to go to the waterfront! Alex tells me that he’s going to take me to see Pike Place market, the Seattle aquarium, and go for a ride on a Ferris wheel right next to Puget Sound. I just have to wait for his royal officers to be ready to go with us.
“Is this outfit OK for the waterfront?” I ask nervously.
“Hmm…,” Alex looks me over carefully. “I’d suggest better walking shoes. We will be walking a lot.”
I go look at what I have in the closet, and choose the best pair for walking that I currently own.
Soon we are on our way down to the bottom most floor of the palace, where the parking garage is located. We hold hands the entire way, per Alex’s request just before we left the room.
