Elianna walked over and intervened, saying, "Tristian, let it go. Dealing with someone like him isn't worth it. It's disgusting enough just having to look at him."
Tristian looked at Elianna. "Elianna, why didn't you tell me about this earlier?"
Elianna gave a faint smile. "It wasn't worth mentioning. Everything turned out fine in the end, so why bring up something so revolting?"
Tristian pressed down the anger and coldly said to Spencer, "Why are you still here?"
Spencer looked at Elianna, his voice trembling. "Elianna, I messed up—I acted like an animal. I should never have thought of hurting you. Please, don't hold this against me, or I'll be cast out of the Vale family!"
