Rae’s point of view      I woke up earlier in the morning and headed down stairs. As I passed Alex’s door I realized it was still closed. I sighed. How long was he going to need to process what I told him? Our mother wasn’t loyal to our father, that was true. Regardless, Alex and I were still brother and sister. No matter what I or him finds out about the past that will not change. We grew up together and have always been there for each other, and will always be. I reached the kitchen and made a quick breakfast of pancakes. I set up an extra plate for Alex with a note. Love you brother. See you later today. Nothing has changed.
