Why did I agree to meet the Alpha every day for the next week? What is wrong with me? There is no way he is my mate, so it’s not like I need to know how to reject him. But what about those sparks I felt? Is what he said true? Is that a mate bond? I need to learn as much as I can about werewolves, and more than just how to kill them.
Sighing, I stretched and got myself out of bed. Time to go to training then to meet the Alpha in the afternoon. Alex was already gone by the time I got downstairs, it must be later then I thought. Damn. I grabbed an apple and raced to the training grounds.
“Look who decided to show up!” April shouted upon seeing me. “An extra mile for your tardiness.”
“Yes, ma’am!” I yelled back breaking
