Rae’s point of view
I left Eli’s later than I had planned. I was tired and still struggling to control fire and water in both hands. It was so easy just to designate a side to each power. I was lost in thought when Michael suddenly appeared in front of me. Just my luck, I run into the Alpha two days in a row. Had he been looking for me?
“Shit.” I muttered underneath my breath. How was I going to get out of this, this time?
“You don’t need to be afraid of me.” Michael said as if we weren’t natural enemies. Of course I had to be afraid of him.
“You are a werewolf, you are the enemy, and I am in enemy territory. Of course I have to be afraid of you. But don’t think for a second that that will stop me from fighting you if need be.” I said
