“Ahh-okay that explains that nasty dog smell all over you little kitty” Miguel smiled without humour as he spoke, not looking at Aiden but still just facing Olivia. Aiden turned his head and looked at Miguel, growling in an eerie-low tone.  “Mine”  It was Helios who spoke in his Alpha tone. Miguel raised his eyebrows, and responded un-scared and un-startled  “An Alpha. Interesting. Well listen buddy, I’m sure you know she’s not a she-wolf. I’m also sure you have no claim over her. I don’t see a mark anywhere, and even if there was one, we don’t follow those silly rules.”  Tamara was breathing nervously and had backed away to look for Sam. Olivia stood there in shock at the exchange and didn’t want to say the wrong thing, they were both dangerous and they could end up killing each other. Miguel could kill her mate.  Nico? Please come back. I need your help. Miguel is here, the janitor’s closet guy remember?  Yes. On the way Olie Aiden took a step forward towards Miguel as he held onto his patience by a thread, anger filled his head.  Kill him! He wants our mate  “Tell me why shouldn’t I kill you right now” Aiden practically barked and Miguel began circling Aiden to taunt him, he spoke in a mocking tone  “Don’t you know? Jaguars are endangered. You’d get in a lot of trouble pup”  In a matter of seconds, Aiden reached with his right hand to his side where Miguel was as he circled him and grabbed him from the collar of his shirt, making a fist and pulling him in the air. “Aiden. Enough!!” Olivia used a commanding tone as she looked around to see if someone was looking. A few omegas had been staring but then walked away when she glared at them. Aiden dropped Miguel, who barely flinched at the encounter.  “Listen I usually would say I don’t mind sharing, but clearly you are incapable. Besides my little kitty is one of a kind and I don’t feel like sharing her” Miguel spoke matter-of-factly as he smiled at Olivia and winked.  Aiden tried to shut Miguel out because if he looked at him one more time he was sure Helios would come out, right there in the middle of everything and in front of everyone. He turned again and looked at Olivia, with anger masking hurt. He tried to use logic and remind himself to allow her an explanation.  “Aiden, he is NOTHING to me” She looked at Miguel when she said ‘nothing’ and then looked back at Aiden, who didn’t relax at all.  “Let’s go”  Aiden said and pulled Olivia to him as he started to walk away, but Miguel grabbed him from the back of his shirt and pulled him back with easy strength, making him stumble. “Woah wait a second there pup. I have a right over her, I scented her first and I mated with her first. I don’t smell her sweetness on you so it’s clear she doesn’t want you, so give up. Go find yourself a loyal she-wolf that will actually do what you say? Let me handle my own species” Aiden had slowly turned to face Miguel but he spoke to Olivia  “Are you going to tell him or should I?” Olivia looked at Aiden with confusion at first and then a slow realization of what he meant. He knew.   “Tell him what Aiden?” She said cautiously as both men stared at each other.  “You know what. Tell him. Now” Aiden turned to look at her, getting really close to her face “Aiden this is not the way or the place—“ “TEEEEEELL HIIIIIIIIM!!!!” Aiden roared so loudly that everyone around them quieted and Olivia stumbled back and fell to the ground due to the force behind his roar. She looked up, hurt for him and for herself.  “What the f**k Aiden??”  Nico growled and pushed Aiden as he arrived and witnessed the scene before him, making Aiden snap out of it as Miguel shook his head and smiled. Nico reached down and helped Olivia get up, she was now white and speechless.  “Aiden what happened?” Sam asked as he and Tamara joined them, they knew what happened, everyone within a mile had heard him roar.  “Let’s go Sam”  Aiden began to walk away and Sam followed, mouthing a ‘sorry’ to Tamara. Olivia didn’t stop him, and so no one did.  Nico still held onto Olivia when he spoke to Miguel, jaguar-eyes glowing with threat.  “If you know what’s good for you jaguar you better stay away from her. Last I checked three against one is no bet for you” Nico warned Miguel who suddenly realized that these seemed to be Olivia’s siblings, a flash of worry in his eyes that was quickly replaced with a taunting smile when he heard her approach. “You mean two against three” A sultry voice said, hugging Miguel sideways. She appeared out of place wearing a cocktail dress and heels, she clearly didn’t understand this was the jungle and not a rooftop party. Her smell suddenly shocked Nico who struggled to maintain the flood of desire he suddenly got.  Everyone noticed and Olivia instantly held onto him tighter.  “Who the hell are you? You must cover your scent here!! It’s dangerous!” Tamara said, worried and outraged at the same time.  “I’m Camila, Miguel’s twin. Scent blockers are an insult to our nature. I don’t believe in them, besides you are the only jaguars we’ve ever seen”. She spoke with antipathy and disgust in her voice as she scrutinized them from head to toe. They all stared at her, she was beautiful and sexy. All female jaguars were, but her scent enhanced her presence threefold.  “Well you better start believing in it soon if you know what’s good for you. And you, Miguel, stay away from us and from Aiden. This is the last warning I will give you” Olivia said with a menacing tone that made Miguel and his twin Camila slightly back up, surprised at the commanding voice and how fast she had recouped. They quickly recovered from their shock and Miguel spoke, turning to walk away.  “See you around little kitty”.  As Miguel and Camila made their way towards a tent and out of Olivia and her sibling’s earshot they spoke casually  “So that’s her huh? A bit underwhelming Miguel, and you said we would get her and leave this place right away. Doesn’t seem she wants to go” Camila spoke with jealousy in her voice at all the attention another female-jaguar was getting. She couldn’t believe the American wolf had been paying so much attention to her and her brother seemed obsessed.  “I wasn’t counting on her having 2 full-blooded jaguar siblings, and an Alpha wolf who seems to think she is hers, and let’s not forget there’s a Beta too” Miguel spoke calmly, but annoyed that this would be harder than he thought. He was used to getting his way around women, and this was the first time he got a ‘no’ from one. He was starting to realize that dealing with female-jaguars was proving to be more difficult than he thought. “How would you know that Miguel? You met her once! Let’s go already and I’m sure you’ll find another jaguar to have your cubs at some point” Camila was starting to sweat and her make up was starting to become heavy on her face, the humidity was not helping the layers of paint and color she had plastered on her eyes and mouth. She wanted to get out of there. “Camila you are delusional we are nearly extinct.” “Yes, but this is the first time we’ve been in the jungle since we were little kids! I am sure there’s more jaguars here somewhere” “Yea and they’ll come running when they smell you. Would you tone it down already and take the blockers? You are making these poor omegas drool. Be careful Camila, this is not the city, there might be jaguars somewhere and your smell is overpowering” “Ohh Miguel don’t be silly! It's natural.” “It’s not natural when you take scent enhancers Camila. I know it acts like a f*****g drug. That’s the literal opposite of what you should do.” Miguel was bothered by all the men watching them, he only wanted to convince Olivia to go with him back to the city but his sister was making everyone drool and bringing too much attention to them. But the scene brought an idea. “Cami, I have an idea that will help us get out of here faster. But I need your help.” “Literally anything Miguel, anything to get out of here” Camila spoke with relief, done with the place and the people. “I need you too hook up with the Alpha” “That’s it? Gladly!!” “I need you to mark him too.” “Hmmm might be a challenge but the enhancers you were opposed to a second ago will prove helpful” She smiled at the thought of having the Alpha for herself, he was an A plus hottie in her eyes.  “Great. Tonight it is. As soon as Olivia sees him, we are for sure out of here.” … 6 hours later “Did you do what I asked? And where is Sam? I need to speak with him” Olivia spoke frantically, she had been looking for Aiden for hours and couldn’t find him anywhere. “Yes Oli, everything is fine here I got it. I’m guessing you haven’t found him?” Tamara was now worried Aiden would break Olivia’s heart, she always thought it would be the other way around. This man was affecting Olivia in ways she had never seen. “No Tami. Sam said he was going into town to clear his mind. I looked and I looked all over camp. There is no trace of him there, I am guessing he went into the jungle alone. Where is Sam?” Olivia was frustrated she couldn’t find Aiden and explain, she had smelled him everywhere and found him nowhere. She was also scared that he would reject her now if he knew who she was. Either way she was determined to tell him.  “Sam should be back in a second. He went to talk with the protesters on the other site. Sam told me Aiden had been checking up on him, the last time was an hour ago. He’s fine Olie” Sam walked in, also tense and annoyed mainly with Olivia for causing Aiden problems. “Yes, he is fine Olivia. Let him be for just a moment, he doesn’t need you 24/7” Sam tried to suppress his anger at her but it was futile, it was obvious he was upset with her. Olivia walked towards Sam, anger and hurt taking over with ease as she spoke “Sam. Where is he?” Olivia looked Sam dead in the eyes but he didn’t respond, his mouth a thin line, defying her with silence “Tell me. NOW!” Olivia did not ask anymore. She commanded him with that one word and Sam couldn’t but comply. “He is in the jungle, by the inner-river you like” Sam muttered, even more annoyed she had that power over him, over others.  Olivia walked away, then took off running. He was deeper into the jungle than she thought. “How does she do that Tami?” “Do what?” “The commanding tone...only Alpha wolves have it in our species” “Ahh-that. Mmm some jaguars have it. Hers is pretty strong, she can command animals too. It is probably tied to her gift.” “Mmm interesting, I wonder if she can command an Alpha” Tamara laughed and nodded “You doubt that?” Olivia reached the edge of the jungle and found her changing spot. She decided she would shift to find Aiden faster, even though she didn’t like to do that during the day too often, it was nearly sundown. When the shift was complete, Killari remembered that Nico had gone into the jungle to clear his head off from the new female jaguar’s smell, so she midlinked his jaguar as she took off.   Rio, have you found Aiden? No Killari, but I smell him everywhere. Helios has been around Please keep an eye on him and let me know, Sam said by the river I like. Will do.  Rio had been running through the forest floor trying to focus on the breeze hitting his face and the symphony of sounds around him. The new female jaguar present had had an overpowering scent, more than anything he had ever smelled. It was tantalizing and seductive, and he did not want to be taken over by a city jaguar that had obviously never been in the forest and had no regard for the danger she posed to their species with the way she fauntled her scent.  Rio had started to search for Aiden with his keen sense of smell and sight, he had been through this area and he was getting close to the river.  Abruptly, an overpowering sweet-sour smell took over his jaguar’s senses. It was so strong that it was hard to shake the feeling of need off, but Rio shook his jaguar head trying to clear the fog of desire, remembering where the smell came from. Rio that’s that female jaguar! Camila! Stay away from her I don’t want anything to do with her Nico, focus. She’s not alone.  Is that Aiden? Rio crouched low behind the vegetation, easily hiding his body and mind linking Olivia. Olie, I found him. He just got into the river on the west side, that female jaguar is here too The only thing Rio heard in response was a growl. He saw the woman get undressed and get into the water with Aiden. Rio decided to see how far the Alpha would go, and he did not make a single sound. He was shocked when Camila clung to the Alpha and he did not remove her right away, instead he let her kiss his neck. What is he doing? Weren’t wolves supposed to be faithful? Nico was outraged in Rio’s mind, this man was supposed to be Olivia’s mate.  Finally he’s removing her. Wait! What??  The male jaguar observed as Camila wrapped herself around Aiden, kissing him with her full force. To the jaguar’s shock, he kissed her back. He stared as they made-out, practically eating each other’s faces.  Rio heard deadly silent footsteps approaching him from behind, he would know Killari’s movements anywhere. He heard bones cracking as Olivia shifted back to her human form, crumbling to the ground and falling on her knees.  The silence of the night was broken by his sister’s howl of pain, a sound he had never heard before. His massive roar held menace and his anger was only contained by his sister who clung to his body, smelling like herself and weeping at the sight before her eyes.
