I woke up feeling a bit lightheaded. My lids were heavy but I managed to open them. The room was dark. There was no light and for minutes, I struggled to remember where I was. Then it struck me. Carlos had found me. He had kidnapped me. His voice had been the last I heard before I gave in to unconsciousness. My heart began to best erratically, my brain was frozen. I could not think of anything. The door opened then, I was too scared and antsy so I remained in that position on the bed and shut my lids tight.
