"They are waiting for you, ma'am." Derek came to inform me that morning.
I put on my most professional face, same one I had worn since two months I took the place of Blake. It had been stressful but fun. I loved the feeling of being their leader. The one everyone looked up to.
I felt revered and mighty. This was what Blake had been enjoying. He did not want me to be here, that much was obvious now. But I could care less.
"I'll be right behind you. I'm coming."
