Henry felt a profound sadness envelop him, the revelation both comforting and heartbreaking. “Why didn’t you tell us sooner?”
Valerie’s voice was barely audible. “I wanted to be certain of my place here, to make sure I could truly help before revealing myself. Seeing how much Primily is struggling, I knew I had to step in.”
