Lee Mi-Hi pov :

I woke up early, the following morning. I took my bath and got dressed for my trip. I couldn't check on Chin-Hae before leaving so I dropped a note with the maid.

I took my bag to the car and dropped it in the booth. I entered and the driver drove off.

The drive to the airport was boring and slow. I was eager to get to America. I was eager to see my daughter.

We finally got to the airport and the car was parked. I stepped down from the car and quickly opened the booth. I brought out my bag and dropped it on the floor.

"annyeong bu-in (goodbye ma'am)" the driver greeted bowing slightly

I waved him off and drag my bag into the airport. I did the necessary thing before entering into the plane. I dropped my bag and sat close to the window. I rested my head for a while.

I know this is going to be a long journey but all I want is to come back with my Hyo-Sonn.

Alicia's pov :

"Alicia, Alicia" someone called

It's definitely my mum

I turned slightly before covering my self with the blanket.

I feel so sleepy

"Princess it's 6:30am already, do you want to get to school late" mum yelled

"Ok mum, I'm up already" I yelled back

I stood up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take my bath. When I was done brushing, I pulled off my clothes and turn on the shower.

I stepped into the shower and allowed the water run down my skin. I washed my hair first before washing my body. I stayed under the shower for some minutes, rinsing off the soap. When I was done, I wrapped my body with a big towel and my hair with a smaller one.

I stepped out of the bathroom and sat on the chair opposite the mirror. I cleaned my body gradually before rubbing my skin with my cream and i dried my wet hair.

I put on my b*a and pant, wore my leggings and my dark blue skirt before wearing my white shirt. I also put on my stockings and shoes. I checked the time, it was 7am

I went to the sitting room. Breakfast was already served and Mum was getting my lunch box ready.

"Good morning mom" I greeted giving her a peg on both cheeks

"Good morning princess, Hope you slept well"she asked

"Yes mum, I did" I answered

"You should eat up, I don't want you to get punished at school" she said gesturing me to sit down

I sat down and dug into the breakfast

"Don't forget your lunch box" she said and I nodded

She picked her bag and hugged me

"I'm off to work, promise me you won't get into trouble" she said

"Promise" I answered

"Pinky promise?" She asked giving me her pinky finger

"Yes" I answered holding her pinky finger with mine

We said our goodbyes and she left. I cleared the plates from the dinning and dropped them in the basin.

I picked my bag and left to call Maya. I got to her doorstep and press the bell. The door opened revealing already dressed Maya

"Good morning Maya" I greeted

"Good morning, hope you slept well?" She asked

"Yes I did, I hope you did also?" I asked

She nodded. She handed me a bag. I opened it to see chocolate cake. I smiled

"Thanks Maya" I said hugging her

"We should go, I'm not ready to get punished" she said and we left for school

I hope I won't get into trouble today!!!

Lee Mi-Hi's pov :

"Tighten your seatbelt, the plane is about to land"

I tighten my seatbelt and waited anxiously for the plane to land. It was morning already when I got to America.

I dropped my bag and left the plane. I got to where the detective was waiting.

"Good morning ma'am Detective Jake" he said

"Good morning Detective" I answered

"Can I see the girls now?" I asked

"Well the girls should be on their way to school now. You should get some rest first before heading to the school" he suggested

I was so eager to see the girls that I totally forgot about been tired or stressed out.

"I want to see them now" I said

"Ma'am it's just 7:10am, I'm sure the kids are not in school yet. You should get some rest them we can visit them at noon" he said trying to convince me

I had no choice than to agree to what he said. We left the airport to a hotel closer to the school. I was already sleeping when we got to the hotel.

"Ma'am we are here" he announced

I stepped out of the car and carried my bag out of the booth.

"Ma'am, I will come pick you up by 12pm" he said and I nodded

I drag my bag into the hotel. He already made a reservation for me, so there was no need getting a room which made it easier.

I asked for the key to my room from the rceptionist and she handed over the key. I dragged my bag slowly into the room. I dropped the bag and climbed the bed.

I was so tired to eat or bath. I lie down properly on the bed. I will take my bath and eat when I wake up.

I couldn't help but think of her reaction when she finds out I'm her mother.

I was lost in thought until I finally slept off

Alicia's pov :

School was just as usual. I couldn't wait for the bell. I was so tired of coming to school. I wish I could just stay at home and study but mum can't afford it.

Soon, it was lunch time. I was so happy. At least I get to eat and also have time to gist with my friend.

"Maya what are you searching for, we should go, I'm hungry" I whined

"Hey chill ok, I can't find my textbook" she answered

"Can't you find it when we come back?" I questioned

"No I can't, I need to drop it in my locker" she answered

"Be fast ok?" I said

"I will" she answered

I sat down one the desk waiting impatiently for her.

"Have you seen it?" I asked curious

"No"

"Should I help you?" I asked concerned

"Yes...... No I found it" she answered

I heaved a sigh of relieve

"Finally" I breathed out

We stood up to go when a student walked up to us. He looked at me for some minutes before speaking

"Hey Nerd" the student said and Maya glared

"She's not a nerd" she answered within gritted teeth

"Of course she is" he said

"She's not" she answered angrily

"Of course she is and so are you" he replied smiling

"Say that one more time and I will feed your balls to the dogs" she fired back

"Maya that's enough" I said not wanting to cause a scene

"Weirdo, the principal wants you in his office" he said

"The principal?" I asked

"You heard me stupid" he answered.

Maya gave him the I will kill you look, he looked scared. He looked at Maya before walking away

I looked at Maya. She looked very worried. I am too. I only get to see the principal when I'm in trouble.

"What did you do?" Maya asked

"Nothing, I didn't do anything" I answered scared

"Are you sure?" She asked

"Of course I am, I can't remember doing anything wrong" I said

We were just looking at each other. I was so confused. I am very sure I did nothing wrong.

I can't believe I got into trouble after promising mum that I won't.

I was about saying something when Maya whispered

"The principal is here"

I turned swiftly and saw the principal looking at me sternly, holding a cane

"Alicia Kings!!!!"
