Now Lola looked concerned. “Jonah, Kendall called for a break a couple minutes ago. I'm guessing some folks went out for a smoke break, or just to stretch. You didn't realize that? Are you alright?”
Jonah ignored both questions. “When did I volunteer to do an assignment with Reynolda?”
Lola looked at him with even further alarm now. “Jonah, Kendall was telling us about an improvisational writing experiment that she'd be assigning after Thanksgiving,” she said. “We all sat here and paired up. Everyone went silent when it came to Reynolda, and Kendall asked if anyone was willing, and you said, 'Yeah, fine.' Are you sick?”
