CHAPTER 38 Ava’s POV In Mara’s bedroom, nothing really piqued my interest like the rest of the rooms I’ve entered in this building. Her bedroom smelled nothing like motor oil or gasoline. It had a feminine scent to it. And it made me proud of her, that living with men for years didn’t ruin the essentiality of using deodorants. There are lipstick stains on the walls.
