Knox had tracked down the Black SUV to Westerly hotel. It was the only hotel in Greystone. And something about finding the car parked in an open spot didn't sit well with me.
I came across a bit of Damian Cross's history while Knox was tracking the car. And the little information Ava gave corresponded with what I also found.
Although, I knew enough to detect that his kind of person wouldn’t be so foolish as to make it easier for us to find him.
He wanted to be found.
Or he had other plans and was indeed sly like Ava described him to be.
Damian Cross certainly has an idea about me already.
He knew Ava had fallen under my protection. And that alone made him dangerous.
Grim and I pulled over right in front of the hotel entrance. I killed the engine first and stepped off my bike.
