06 PAIN
The darkness surrounded me suffocating me, burning me, slowly killing me. I was so scared that I was barely aware of myself, my thin and pale hands contrasted with the darkness but they were shaking uncontrollably, I touched my face with my fingers and I noticed that I was crying.
But they weren't tears.
It was blood.
I was full of blood, all my skin was full of sticky and viscous blood, I wanted to scream but no sound came out of my mouth, I tried again but again nothing. Panic welled up inside me and I tried to get up and run but my legs wouldn't respond. Where are my legs?
Something was holding me. Some arms.
