The wind was too loud. Or maybe it was my thoughts. --- I held onto Felix tighter than I realized, my fingers gripping his shirt as the bike cut through the empty roads. The city lights blurred past us, stretching into long streaks of gold and white, but I couldn’t focus on anything outside. Everything felt like it was closing in. Too fast. Too messy.
