Chapter 9
Barry saw a figure.
A stranger.
The stranger was standing between his bed and the bedroom window. He couldn’t tell yet who it was, as the darkness inside the room made this person look like a shadow.
“Who’s there??? Who are you???” demanded Barry.
Barry was still deciding whether to get up and just turn on the bedroom lights or to let this person reveal himself.
He wasn’t even sure if this person was a burglar.
The stranger was walking towards the window.
The window’s curtain was no longer pulled back.
The window was also open.
Barry could hear the a slight wind breeze entering the bedroom.
Barry felt a slight chill.
Barry could see the full moon outside.
It was shining very brightly.
It was shining its light on the room surface closest to the window.
“I said who are you????” Barry demanding in a much louder tone.
The stranger stood by the window.
The stranger hunched over the window, putting his hands down.
His palms were pressed against the windowsill.
The stranger was gazing out the window, looking directly to the full moon.
The moonlight was shining over the stranger.
Barry could tell now what the stranger looked like.
The stranger was a male high school student, with a varsity jacket on; quite tall, well-built like ’a high school football player, had brown-blond hair and a strong domineering chin.
“It came for us!!” the stranger said in a very creepy tone.
The stranger’s eyes were still glued to the full moon outside.
What is he talking about????, Barry thought.
“What came for you??? What are you talking about???” asked Barry, in a frightened tone.“Beware the beast!!!!” the stranger said in a very creepy tone.
The stranger turned his gaze away from the full moon, from the window. He then turned his gaze to Barry.
The stranger was starting to instantaneously decompose before his very eyes. He started looking like some kind of zombie.
“It’s coming for you!!!!” warned the stranger.
