The Nortons were enjoying their conversation with the family whose house they had been invited to, for dinner.
The family that invited them were the Jacobsons.
The Jacobsons were very friendly and very welcoming.
Dinner was lovely, and at the moment everyone was sat down inside the living room.
Barry’s mom was having a deep conversation with Mrs Jacobson while Barry’s dad was talking with Mr Jacobson.
The television was running, showing world news.
Barry was sat down, sipping orange juice. He was also fiddling with his cell phone.
He was bored, and didn’t want to be there.
He’d rather be out on a date with Tanya.
Instead he only got to take glimpses of the Jacobsons’ two kids, who also went to the same high school as Barry.
