It feels like we have been waiting next to the Cristallo for hours when, in reality, it has probably only been thirty minutes at the most. I am so nervous I am practically vibrating; any moment now, if everything goes to plan, my parents will be here and this will all be over. It takes all my willpower to not get ahead of myself, but I cannot help imagining what life will be like having my mum and my dad in my life.
