Neve Fleur stared at me, eyes wide. I had just finished telling her all about my strange dream. “What does it mean?” she whispers, clearly shocked. “I have no idea,” I sigh as I lay back on my pillows. Fleur and I are sitting on my bed. We are meant to be getting ready for the boys' birthday party which is in a couple of hours, but I just can’t get this dream out of my head. “Do you think that maybe you sleepwalked?” Pondered Fleur. “That could explain why your feet were muddy.” “Yeah, but there were no muddy footprints leading to the bed,” I reply, covering my face with a cushion trying to rack my brain for a logical explanation. “It just doesn’t make sense! How did my dream translate into reality?” “Maybe it wasn’t a dream,” Fleur responds quietly. I remove the cushion from my face to see Fleur chewing her bottom lip with a faraway look in her eye. “What do you mean?” I ask cautiously. “Maybe you really did teleport to another realm… maybe your dad is a fairy… and if so, then maybe your parents aren’t really dead!” Fleur's eyes widen again at her new hypotheses. All the colour slowly drains from my face. “I need to find Aunt Angie!”
