I’d just watched him inhale two orders of buffalo wings and a large Caesar salad, reinforcing the fact that he’d never be able to handle giving up real food. It also reminded me that I needed to feed soon. My hunger was beginning to rear its ugly head, especially when I watched him add extra wing sauce to the chicken. The rich color made my stomach growl.
